Logo Group Meetings
Teachers interested in computer game-making and Logo programming are invited to the Science Museum for Logo Group meetings. Play with MicroWorlds & Scratch software by creating your own projects, with support from SMM staff and other teachers in an unstructured environment. These will be very informal meetings with an open-lab feel. You can drop in during any part of it and stay as long as you like.

In July 2005, we held a three-day intensive workshop on using MicroWorlds software to make computer games and other interactive learning projects. Teachers worked on their own projects to learn the basics of LOGO programming and MicroWorlds (or to expand what what they already knew), learned and shared techniques for teaching interactive project-making to youth, and explored connections to classroom content. This workshop was led by Science Museum teachers and staff, as well as Twin Cities teachers. For more information about MicroWorlds, please visit www.microworlds.com or www.smm.org/gamestudio/tools/microworlds.
This workshop was free, thanks to support from the Best Buy Foundation.
