THE RAIN!!
so today i got like super wet... molly and i went to start at our booth... we were the last people to go.... after the super looooooong day with absolutely no visitors we left... we were walking and molly looks to me and says, "i bet once we get there it is going to start raining and then we will have to leave right away." sure enough we got there started helping kids out and sure enough it starts to sprinkle... then a lady comes and said that there was a severe weather warning and everyone had to take shelter....we all packed up and left running down the street... it was really bad... i got a new shirt though! it says carbon dating... hehe its funnie! yeah.. but thats my super wet day... i hate the rain... .:*HANNAH*:.

ANOTHER SATURDAY...
SO TODAY IT IS SATURDAY.............OKAY IM DONE....... well i guess im not... so just kidding...anyways today was super slow on the floor... i am like super tired and just want to go to sleep....i had to babysit my neighbor kids yesterday and i had to stay over until like 2 in the morning... we are making this super huge thaumatrope so i have to go and work on that... well... see ya...... .:*HANNAH*:.

SO ITS SATURDAY! CINCO! DE! MAYO!
SO today is Saturday! We went to an outreach on the west side... it was super rainy and windy...:( i saw my uncle at cinco though....it was pretty fun.... i wish me and Naana could show Mai Kou company though... you know what i am talking about Naana..... yeah... but today was super cool and i had some fun...we played some games when we got back.... we played a game where we tie balloons to our ancles and we try to pop each others balloons.... it was fun.....*_*

another saturday
so today i got to work and we did comic life all day. it was fun because we got to take a ton of pictures!! : ) yeah... so then we got to go onto the floor and see dia de los ninos, so there were a ton of kids up there. im kind of bummed cuz i have to go home after work and help my brother and his friend with their power point. i dont like being the only one in the house that knows how to work the computer. since i have to go home i have to mis mollys play and that is super bogus! : ( yeah... plus it is patricias last day of work : ( .....(super sad face) yeah... but i have to go and get back to work now... : ( see ya .:*HANNAH*:.

I HATE RAINY DAYS!
So today i am having the most stupid day ever! my dog copper almost KILLED my new puppy that i got on sunday... okay so he didnt almost KILL her but he did hurt her! he bit her and almost ripped her nose off! she might have broken her leg so she is at the vet until tomorrow after my mom gets home. im gonna miss her so much! i love my little puppy and i dont want her to be hurt! So after that whole ordeal(yes it was an ordeal) i got to work late and then i had to cut out boats.. it was fun and all but not having the whole crew here isnt too awesome. but thats why i hate rainy days.. i always have crappy days when it rains... talk to ya later... .:*HANNAH*:.

okay.. so about today...
yeah... so today i didn't have such a great day. I've been having a hard time with a teacher that doesn't understand my situation... so ive been having a hard time with that and her not being able to make accommodation's to help me with my project that shes been asking for. i had a hard summer and i had some family issues that i dont necessarily like to talk about and she doesnt think its that big of a deal, but it is. Ive been trying to work through that but shes really rude to me and humiliates me in front of the class. I dont really like to talk about me having a bad day but i thought that i would let it out and now i feel much better. so about the outreach at st.kates. it was super fun but sometimes it was a little hectic. it was a really long day and some of the kids didnt want to listen and felt like they were above the projects. there also was this one girl that a little difficult to work with and everyone else got a kick out of her. yeah. i got tired after lunch and wanted to take a nap, but i couldnt. ah the good times. it was a really awesome day and it was way better than the day ive been having so far. i love coming to work. when i come here i just feel like i can have a horrible day and all of my friends can brighten up my day. but heres some pictures of that awesome day i had at st.kates! WORKIN' HARD OR HARDLY WORKIN'??
YEAH... so today was super awesome! I had to get kaleidoscopes so i got to use the SUPER GINORMOUS PAPER CUTTER!! it was fun. although i had all of that fun with the paper cutter it was kind of challenging because i had to make sure that i could see the marks i made on the super shiny paper, but i did it! and i still have all of my fingers. oh. i also had a SUPER AWESOME DAY AT WORK LAST SATURDAY! we go to go aroung the museum and see all of the booths for AFRICAN AMERICANS IN SCIENCE DAY. IT WAS FUN!!! Kia, John and I went to the big world and we got lift it up before we saw a Jazz band. it was fun! heres a picture of KIA!

ANOTHER SATURDAY
SO...TODAY is the 3rd of February right??? well i am having the most hectic day.. work is good and all the kaleidoscopes are going good ,but tomorrow i leave for florida and i still need to pack and all of that fun stuff... i have NEVER been on an airplane so i am all nervous bout that... but i am really going to miss going to work that whole week that i am gone.... its not going to be the same being somewhere warn and then not having to go to work.. but i do need a break from school and everything.. the whole experience is going to be mind blowing... the one thing that i am kind of scared of is that Florida has been having a lot of weird weather and i dont want it to be ICKY while i am there...its going to be AWESOME!!! yeah... i really want to finish the crystal radios though...i guess that Kia will have to finish them by herself if thats what we are doing next week... i kind of feel bad for leaving but i am so excited.. well i gotta go!! .:*HANNAH*:.

RACE
okay.. so the whole seeing the RACE exhibit was kind of surreal... i helped design and a saw the scale model of it while i was on the team. it just makes me feel so bad when it comes down to the point that we have to make an exhibit to inform people to be more open minded about other peoples backgrounds and beliefs. it hard for me to be mixed(Ojibwa and German) and have people stare at me when i am dressed in my regalia and not understand. When i go to my reservation(Bois Fort) and visit my family they dont see that you are mixed or that you are only coming to visit because you live in the cities and they dont judge. i believe that the Indian community is more accepting and they dont see someone for their skin color or where they come from. when you grow up on the reservation you are taught to see a person soul and not their past actions or their hardships. when i was young i was always ridiculed and teased by the adults. when i was 4 years old my best friends mom came to pick her daughter from my house and she got scared because we had our eagle feathers up and took her daughter home. i called my friend and sent her letters and they sent them all back. i never once saw her again and i dont think that i ever will. i thought it was my fault but now i know that it isnt. i dont hide my identity and i love where i come from. i am so proud of my family and our history. my great grandmother was John Beargrease's last living granddaughter(she died a few years back). i love to inform people on my heritage and i am proud. JUST TODAY....
So.. today we allwere in ltc and we had to do this one activity and it was a little hard.. we had to do this one worksheet where we couldnt use pronouns and i was kind of used to writing like that for english but it was still a little hard... it was fun though... we also played this one game where we had to run across the circle and sya go.. it was all a really big mess... i didnt really get it..but anyway.. we did play another game similar to it and that game i did understand....[im hungry]^that was a little random^ but i thought that the second game was easier to keep up with.. i kid of hurt john and i am sorry[just dont tackle people!!!]yeah.. but today has been fun sofar other than the hunger part and the hurting someone, but i should recover.... yeah.. well anyway i better go...
