These are all the ideas I first came up with.

1. “The Belt”
“The Belt” is a belt with cricket controlled heating or cooling pads and a detachable drink holder.

2. ”Winter Muffs”
This invention has cricket controlled temperature pads that go over your ears and, the earmuffs have little compartments to store things like gloves.

3. ”Walk On Water”
The “Walk On Water” shoes are little wooden boat shoes that have gears controlled by crickets to toss out water and dry your feet.

4. “Massaging Jacket”
This is a jacket that has cricket controlled vibrating pads on shoulders and back bones.

5. “Mobile Box”
This box is on wheels controlled by chains controlled by crickets and it follows you around.

Every single sensor that we can use judges how much electricity is flowing through the closed circuit. We discussed that the clothes have to be safe and friendly. One of my ideas is a shirt that has a temperature sensor that senses if someone is to close by how hot their breath feels. If it reaches a certain temperature gears on the shirts shoulder pads will turn and shoot out shaving cream with confetti. All clothes should be comfortable and wearable.

Today we tried to program a cricket with a light sensor so that it would make one long note in the dark and a still stay on when in the light. It was one of the first times things went totally wrong and I didn’t get frustrated or really upset or anything and I actually had fun! We managed in the end. I hope that next time we will replace the beep with a light bulb.

Today I was working on cricket commands. The commands made the cricket find out how much electricity was in the room judging on heat . I made it so that if the heat reached 102 or above the cricket would beep. Then I moved onto making motorized gears squeeze something. It is not completed. danielle

Today we were working on the same stuff as last time but I have moved on to trying to use the gears to go towards each other and it isn’t working very well. I am thinking of moving on to an easier project and retuning to this one later when I know more about crickets.

Today I have accomplished a whole lot of things for example I got all the programing to work and I have made the construction solid and stable. All I have to do is finish making a way for you to wear the squirting invention and bring in the stuff for it to squirt. I hope the other person who I have entrusted to bring in some supplies remembers.

Today I tried to make the motor stronger in a lot of ways, like changing the program and messing around with gears. It still was not strong enough. I decided to change the programing so that it would work like a push pop. I’m going to bring in my shaving cream next week. danielle

This is a picture of my invention when it is finished, before I put it on my vest.
I changed the design of my invention from having two rods squeeze a bottle making shaving cream shoot out of it to something that works more like a push pop. I did this because the rods weren't strong enough to squeeze the bottle. The push pop worked because the rod only had to push on shaving cream instead on the sides of the bottle. I used the bottom of a plastic bottle and glued it on to a rod. I had the gears turn so that the rod would push the shaving cream out through the top of the bottle.

In all the weeks that have passed I have been doing basically the same thing. I have been working on the strength of the structure and putting my project into part of a vest and there has been little things that have gone right but I think I’m almost done. I also have changed it from being on my shoulder to being hidden on a tray. danielle

Today I finished my project and it works as far as I’m concerned. I designed the clothing so that I’m wearing a vest and carrying a tray. I covered the tray in popourri and hid my invention under it.
