Today we talked about what should an art car have and how to be on focus so we could move on to other things. We also sanded our art car so that the sides are smooth and the area is nice to put stuff on or draw or paint on.
I am doing a spring car that I draw and then paint the flowers onto the car. I might put glitter onto the car too and put some shiny star onto it to make it look nice. Inside I would make a big flower to put it in the middle. I will make it turn and I might make it play a soft kind of a music that almost sounds like a music box. I chose to make this kind of car because I like flowers and making a spring car is like having a garden full of flowers. |

This is one side of my coral reef car that I drew. |
Today I change my mind of doing a spring car because I couldn’t find any good spring things that I wanted. Today I decided to do a coral reef car and I found a plant that can grow under water. I decided to put the plants out the windows. I chose to do a coral reef car because in 5th grade we did a coral reef exhibit and it was my favorite. For the action I decided to hang fishes and spin them to make it fly. I will put some strings long and some strings short. |

| I painted my car dark blue but I didn’t finish it. Ms Thimmesch gave me some wood that looked like oval shape for my fishes. We also look at the different movements that we could have. |

| I got done painting my car, but I still need to paint pictures on it. I also need to paint my fishes and make them have a tail and fins. I also need to work on my action and put the pieces together. |

| I built my action, but I didn’t get to make it move. I also drew pictures of coral reef animals on to my car. I drew pictures of dolphins on to my wheels of my car. I decided to put fishes on to the action mover and make the fishes go up, over and down. I have decided to paint the pictures on my car and decorate the fishes for the action next week. |

Today I built more to my action and I’m done with it. I also put one of my fishes on to my action. It worked very well. Suzy helped me with taking pictures of the other side of my car and my action. Next week I will continue doing my action and make interesting things up. |

Today I made waves to cover the lego. I’m trying to find magazines that looks like real water and cut them out to put them on to my waves. Next time I’m going to work on it and get it down. |

Today I am finished with my car. I have two fish that moves at the same time. I think my car is pretty cool. Today I also took pictures of my car and I put a string to my car so that I can pull my car.
