In our class we learned about simple machines; wheels and axles, inclined planes, pulleys, and levers. We then picked one of the four simple machines and chose stop motion animation to show what we learned for our exhibit. We had to do a diagram for part of our exhibit. We all made real life models. We put our models in our movie.
For our movie we had to move our objects slightly and then take a picture. When you’re done taking all your pictures you put them on the computer and put them into a program called iMovie. After putting the pictures into iMovie you record your sound.
For our audience, other students and parents, we will do our presentation. We will explain our diagrams on our poster. We will finally show our movie. The animation movies help you learn better about simple machines because they are a visual image and you can see them move.
