Youth Interns

The interns are older youth (9-11th grade) who work as a volunteer or paid staff on special projects. These projects could be shadowing museum staff or other technology professionals, interning with a museum department (like Information Services), working on small teams to develop technology-based outreaches for community partners, or doing other technology-based research projects. In general, the internships last several months and give older youth a chance to take on more leadership and responsibility as they apply their knowledge of technology and teamwork in a real-life setting.
