Spinning Five things spinning I wanted to see if I could use a cricket motor to spin things, then take a long-exposure photograph and see how the thing - whatever it was - was transformed by motion. Sitting Five things sitting.

I talked to Margaret and Kristen about process and how ideas form and spent a day working on a couple ideas - just that - not really settled yet. So the first is something that I keep tinkering with... lights and dialogues. I bumped into work by the artist Andrea Dezso (look here) and it really affected me. So I started messing about with little pictures of people illuminated with led's.

Next week is our first Atelier, when museum and out-of-school educators from around the country will come to Minnesota to play with Crickets, and to think about how to get other people to play with Crickets. There's more info in Upcoming Events...
