The Science Museum of Minnesota's Learning Technologies Center offers this online community to support scientific researchers, formal/informal educators, and concerned individuals learning how to use open-source 3D visualization tools.

This online resource allows members to share models, create and read tutorials, discuss issues, and collaboratively design new tools. The initial focus of this project will be on the archaeological dig at Çatalhöyük in central Turkey.

More information about the site can be found at the Mysteries of Çatalhöyük website.

Is this site for you? While this site is currently geared towards those already creating 3D or 2D multimedia, if you have an interest in creating visualizations and have never done it, visit our absolute beginner page.

In time we hope that the visualization content on this site will encompass all scientific disciplines. River system dynamics, space exploration, the inner workings of the human body, sound made visual....these are just a few of the possible topics we hope to see in the future. We hope to see your contributions soon!
